Jamie Hale is a multidisciplinary creative based in London whose creative work narrates the agency and urgency of living as a disabled person in the world, through the intimate connections between body, nature, mortality and universality. Jamie is an award-winning poet published by the Guardian, the Rialto, MAGMA, and others. They curated CRIPtic – a sell-out night of d/Deaf and disabled arts at the Barbican Centre, including their solo show, NOT DYING, and have performed in venues including the Tate Modern and the Southbank Centre. Their first pamphlet, _Shield_, about being disabled in the current pandemic, will be published by Verve in Jan 2021.
