Monday 22nd February 2.00pm-3.30pm
NOT DYING is a solo show comprising poetry, monologue, spoken word, and comedy, exploring what it means to face death – and then look at life instead. Written while seriously ill, it turns its focus onto the social barriers faced by disabled people, and challenges the audience to understand that while illness may be inevitable, discrimination is not. Tackling topics from ramps to sex, and social care to suicide, it is a journey through what it means to be disabled in Britain in the present day – and towards what a better world could look like.
This event comprises of a film followed by a Q & A with Jamie Hale.
Tickets can be purchased through the Brewery Arts Centre
