Manchester-based poet, playwright and performer, Hafsah Aneela Bashir, is the founder of the Poetry Health Service (PHS) - a free online creative service, established in July 2020, to offer contemporary poetry as a tool for connection and healing. The service is accessed via a dedicated website and phoneline and users are gifted a complimentary poem, written by poets including Roger Robinson, Anthony Anaxagorou and Salena Godden. Following the Poetry Health Service model, this workshop will introduce participants to new and old poetry which inspires, celebrates and comforts the reader, inviting participants to respond in a series of simple practical exercises. A warm, welcoming workshop with an emphasis on connection and emotional health.
Tickets can be purchased through the Brewery Arts Centre
