Dove Cottage Young Poets meet fortnightly to read, write and discuss poetry. If you are aged between 14 and 21 and enjoy writing poetry, come and join this friendly group of young writers for a workshop led by Nafeesa Hamid.
Nafeesa says ”In this workshop, we’ll find inspiration for poetry/ creative writing from the places we are from, our current environments, and the places we are moving towards. We will look at the journeys we take to get from place to place and the stories we collect along the way. The second part of the workshop will focus on learning how to perform our poems effectively and confidently. I look forwards to welcoming you all!”
