Festival Poet

Sam Guglani is a Consultant Oncologist in Cheltenham. He writes for The Lancet and his novel Histories was published in 2017. His poems have have been anthologised in The Charnel House (Bridgedoor Press, 2014), A Long White Thread of Words (SmokeStack, 2016), Orpheus and Eurydice (Bloomsbury Academic, 2017) and published in Shearsman magazine (2015) and Brixton Review of Books (2020). He is Director and Curator of Medicine Unboxed, a project which engages health professionals and the public in conversation around medicine, illuminated by the arts (www.medicineunboxed.org).
