Festival Poet
Paul Batchelor was born in Northumberland, where he lives. His last book, The Acts of Oblivion, appeared last year from Carcanet. His poems have appeared in the the Times Literary Supplement, the London Review of Books, and Poetry (US). He has won the Edwin Morgan International Poetry Competition, and the Times Stephen Spender Prize for Translation. He is Director of Creative Writing at Durham University.
