Brewery Poet
Elizabeth Hare was born and grew up in the south of England and moved north to Lancashire in 1980. Since retiring for academic career she has published three pamphlets, Gardening with My Father (Hen Run 2015), Testimony (Wayleave 2019) and Just Above the Waterline (Wayleave 2021).
Her poems have also been published in Artemis, Dream Catcher, and Envoi magazines, and online by Second Light. Her poem 1964 was shortlisted for the Bridport Poetry Prize in 2013, as was Visiting the British Museum in 2015. She is currently working on her first collection.
