The last ten months have been a crash course in online connection. Workshops, courses, church services, gigs - and now, of course, the Kendal Poetry Festival - are all conducted on Zoom. But a year ago, most of us had never heard it!
KPF is offering two free workshops, aimed at increasing your confidence, knowledge and most of all ENJOYMENT when using Zoom to participate in online poetry events. if you're new to Zoom, or if you'd like to refresh your knowledge of basic Zoom functions, then this is the workshop for you. From phone to computer, from mute to chat, learn how to use a basic Zoom package on your device.
“How to make the Most of Your Online Festival Experience“:
Thursday 11th February, 19.00.
This workshop is aimed at people who how to use basic Zoom functions, but can't imagine Zoom as an interactive festival space. Come along to try out some more advanced Zoom strategies, to share ideas, and to learn how we'll be meeting and mingling during the festival.
