Ian Humphreys’ first full-length collection Zebra (Nine Arches, 2019) takes in 1980’s gay culture and multi-racial heritage. His poetry is playful, risk-taking and exuberant, moving between city and country, between grief and love. Alison Brackenbury is a regular attendee of Kendal Poetry Festival and joins us to read from her Selected Poems Gallop (Carcanet, 2019). Alison is a mesmerising reader of her work and can regularly be heard on BBC Radio. Dove Cottage Young Poet Hermione MacMillan-Clare will also be reading at this event.
Tickets can be purchased through the Brewery Arts Centre
